The Team Member position at Fresh Dining Concepts is integral to the success of the Auntie Anne's and Cinnabon outlets. This role involves preparing and presenting products such as pretzels, Cinnabons, yogurt, and beverages to guests, ensuring that all food and service standards are met. A Team Member is responsible not only for food preparation and presentation but also for maintaining cleanliness and organization within the store premises and equipment. The position demands a commitment to health and safety compliance, customer service excellence, and operational efficiency.

Team Members are expected to engage with customers warmly and professionally, promoting a friendly atmosphere and enhancing guest satisfaction. They perform various tasks including dough preparation, baking, dipping, and handling orders using point-of-sale systems. Job Requirements

  • Prolonged standing, walking, squatting, bending, and repetitive hand and arm motions such as rolling and dipping
  • ability to lift 50 plus pounds
  • ability to work in a fast-paced, highly stressed environment

  • ability to write simple correspondence in English and communicate effectively one-on-one or in small groups
  • ability to test products by taste, color, and smell
  • minimum age of 16 years to operate ovens and 18 years to operate mixers
  • compliance with safety and health regulations
  • availability for occasional long hours within laws

Job Qualifications

  • 0-1 years of experience in the food service industry or equivalent retail experience
  • current food handler certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
  • basic math and reading skills
  • ability to understand and carry out oral or written instructions in English
  • strong guest focus with excellent people skills
  • availability to work shifts
  • ability to develop effective working relationships with co-workers
  • compliance with all health and sanitation laws and regulations
  • experience with computers, smartphones, iPads, retail handhelds, and POS systems preferred
  • general knowledge of food industry or retail operations preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepare dough and other products such as lemonade, butter, dips, Cinnabons, and yogurt
  • roll, twist, dip, shape, bake, and bag pretzels, Cinnabons, and yogurt
  • prepare specialty pretzels and other brand products for Cinnabon
  • insert, rotate, and remove pretzel and Cinnabon trays while monitoring oven baking time and product color
  • dip, drain, and fill pretzels and Cinnabons in the warmer or hot plate
  • prepare drinks and bag orders using proper health and safety measures
  • exhibit friendly and courteous attitudes toward guests and co-workers
  • host, greet, and serve guests with a smile and take orders
  • suggest and upsell products assertively and professionally
  • operate the point-of-sale system efficiently with accuracy
  • serve and provide samples to potential guests
  • set up equipment, utensils, and supplies for opening
  • break down, clean, and put away equipment, utensils, and supplies at closing
  • perform cleaning and maintenance as directed
  • comply with uniform and company hygiene standards
  • maintain regular attendance and punctuality
  • comply with company policies and federal, state regulations including OSHA and EPA
