Job Requirements
- Able to read, write, and speak clearly in English
- willingness to engage actively with members and guests
- ability to stand for long periods
- ability to walk and climb stairs for touring the gym
- ability to bend, kneel, and perform repetitive arm movements
- ability to operate a computer
- capability to lift at least 50 pounds
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in customer service or hospitality roles beneficial
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work effectively in a team environment
- familiarity with basic computer operations
- willingness to learn and complete ongoing training
- basic knowledge of fitness industry a plus
Job Duties
- Welcome, greet, and interact with all members, prospective members, and guests
- provide membership information and facilitate tours
- complete daily cleaning tasks and ensure gym presentation is always extraordinarily clean
- handle membership sign-ups, answering phones, point-of-sale transactions, and addressing member concerns
- assist with billing issues and disputes and escalate to leadership when needed
- regularly review and complete all training materials and updates in the Learning Management System (LMS)
- maintain knowledge and assist members with all amenities, membership offerings, fitness programs, and equipment functions
- make and serve smoothies, if applicable, ensuring they meet customer specifications and maintaining quality standards
- attend and participate in regularly scheduled team meetings
