Job Requirements

  • Excellent guest service skills required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment for up to 8 plus hours per shift
  • Team oriented, adaptable, dependable, and strong work ethic
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
  • Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to work with sharp kitchen tools when in a prep position

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous customer service or food service experience is a plus
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices beneficial

  • Ability to handle fast-paced work environments
  • Basic math skills for cash handling

Job Duties

  • Greet guests to make them feel comfortable and welcome
  • Take guests' food orders and handle cash and credit transactions
  • Follow MAD Greens operational policies and procedures including cash handling and safety/security
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the brand and menu items
  • Make the availability of fresh ingredients possible on a daily basis
  • Cut, slice vegetables and fruits and store them properly
  • Rotate food items in cold storage and trash expired items
  • Sort, chop, and store food items for cooking purposes
  • Serve food to guests in a courteous and timely manner
  • Quickly and accurately prepare food items
  • Follow sanitation and safety procedures including knife handling and kitchen equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant including dining room, restrooms, kitchen and prep areas
  • Effectively handle guest concerns and complaints
  • Work as a team to prepare the restaurant for each shift
  • Act with integrity, honesty and uphold the culture of MAD Greens
  • Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
  • Contribute to a positive team environment
