This job posting is for a position at a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee, not Del Taco LLC. This means that if you are hired, your employer will be the independent franchisee, who is responsible for all employment-related matters such as hiring, firing, discipline, wages, supervision, staffing, and scheduling. The restaurant is part of a well-known fast-food chain but is independently managed, offering a unique workplace culture and the opportunity to become part of a dedicated team in a vibrant hospitality environment.
The role is for a Team Member who plays an essential part in creating an outstanding guest experience. As a Team Member, you will contribute to a positive and energetic restaurant atmosphere, helping to build a culture that is exciting, optimistic, and rewarding. Success in this role depends on delivering high-quality service and fostering an environment where every guest feels valued. Team Members are expected to uphold the highest standards in areas such as guest service, food quality, safety, cleanliness, and product preparation. The ability to maintain a cheerful and helpful demeanor is key, as it encourages repeat business and enhances guest satisfaction.
In this position, you will gain comprehensive knowledge of the menu, enabling you to accurately describe items to guests and help them make satisfying choices. You will operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process orders, handle payments, and ensure efficient service flow. Adherence to food handling, safety, and sanitation standards is mandatory to ensure a safe eating environment. Following company policies and procedures is critically important to maintain operational excellence and consistent service quality.
Your responsibilities will also include making recommendations to improve restaurant operations, managing the cleanliness of the restaurant to uphold a professional image, and maintaining a professional appearance and grooming. This position demands excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask effectively, and a positive attitude when working with colleagues and customers alike.
The ideal candidate will be able to stand and walk for most of their shift, handle tasks that require bending, reaching, lifting, and carrying up to 50 pounds. Food Handler certification may be required, and a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory. Travel to the assigned restaurant location will be necessary. This role offers a dynamic, team-oriented work environment and the chance to develop valuable skills in customer service, cash handling, and restaurant operations.

Job Requirements
- Ability to travel to assigned restaurant location
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred
- Food Handler certification may be required
- Ability to stand and walk for 95-100% of shift including ability to bend, reach and lift and carry a max of 50 pounds
Job Qualifications
