This role invites passionate individuals to join the "Bou Crew" as a Team Member, a pivotal position in delivering Caribou Coffee's renowned customer experience. The Team Member position is integral to representing the brand's purpose and values in every guest interaction. This role is designed for enthusiastic, friendly, and service-oriented individuals who take pride in crafting exceptional beverages and serving guests with warmth and professionalism. Team Members play a key part in creating memorable customer experiences by providing attentive guest service, preparing food and beverages according to strict standards, and maintaining a clean and organized store. This opportunity is suitable for individuals at least 16 years old willing to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, some holidays, and weekends. Job Requirements

  • Ability to work early mornings, evenings, some holidays and/or weekends
  • must be at least 16 years of age
  • physically able to see, hear, speak, reach, lift up to 50 pounds, sit, stand for 4 to 8 hours, bend, and move intermittently during working hours
  • willing to work flexible and varying shifts

  • Prior restaurant, retail or guest service experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Provide incredible guest service by developing personal ongoing relationships with guests
  • practice active listening and connection
  • anticipate guest needs and proactively solve guest opportunities by demonstrating product knowledge and hospitality
  • make enthusiastic and knowledgeable recommendations to delight guests
  • create day-making experiences that spark a chain reaction of good
  • hand-craft beverages to order per Caribou standard operating procedures
  • heat, prepare, and serve Caribou food offerings to standard operating procedures
  • float between barista and guest service and fulfill all team member roles and responsibilities
  • take guest orders and manage cash drawer following all cash handling policies and procedures
  • maintain the look and feel of a well-run store by following cleanliness, sanitization, and organization standards
  • actively think and act upon what the team and guest will need in the future
  • differentiate between problems that can be solved directly and when to ask for leader support
  • willingly take direction from leaders and manage multiple priorities
