Job Requirements

Ability to work early mornings, evenings, some holidays and/or weekends
must be at least 16 years of age
physically able to see, hear, speak, reach, lift up to 50 pounds, sit, stand for 4 to 8 hours, bend, and move intermittently during working hours
willing to work flexible and varying shifts

Job Qualifications

Prior restaurant, retail or guest service experience preferred
strong interpersonal and communication skills
ability to handle multiple priorities effectively
eagerness to learn and improve
ability to manage cash and follow cash handling procedures
customer-oriented mindset
adaptability and team spirit

Job Duties

Provide incredible guest service by developing personal ongoing relationships with guests
practice active listening and connection
anticipate guest needs and proactively solve guest opportunities by demonstrating product knowledge and hospitality
make enthusiastic and knowledgeable recommendations to delight guests
create day-making experiences that spark a chain reaction of good
hand-craft beverages to order per Caribou standard operating procedures
heat, prepare, and serve Caribou food offerings to standard operating procedures
float between barista and guest service and fulfill all team member roles and responsibilities
take guest orders and manage cash drawer following all cash handling policies and procedures
maintain the look and feel of a well-run store by following cleanliness, sanitization, and organization standards
actively think and act upon what the team and guest will need in the future
differentiate between problems that can be solved directly and when to ask for leader support
willingly take direction from leaders and manage multiple priorities
bring core values to life in all actions: support one another, make fun happen, be yourself, take ownership, serve with love
bring joy to interactions and make fun happen
be helpful to others including team members and guests
maintain a learner’s mentality and desire to get better and do things correctly and effectively
