This job opening is at an independently owned and operated Jack in the Box restaurant franchise located in Commerce City, Colorado. Unlike corporate-operated locations, this restaurant is managed by an independent franchisee responsible for all hiring, employment decisions, supervision, staffing, scheduling, and wage determinations. Job Requirements

  • must be at least 16 years old
  • understands and communicates clearly in English
  • ability to perform basic math including addition, subtraction, and multiplication
  • guest service or food cook/preparation experience helpful
  • ability to perform multiple tasks at once
  • ability to stand and walk approximately 90-95% of shift
  • ability to lift and carry 15-25 lbs
  • ability to work effectively in a team environment

Job Duties

  • delivering exceptional guest service by providing excellent service and quality food
  • performing multiple workstations including order taking, food preparation, cashiering, and cleaning
  • maintaining cleanliness and stocking of work areas
  • assembling food orders accurately following Jack in the Box standards
  • operating fryers and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • following food safety policies, including hand washing and glove procedures
  • supporting team by assisting co-workers and participating in a positive team environment
  • ensuring order accuracy and providing appropriate condiments and utensils
  • maintaining neat and professional appearance
  • promptly addressing guest complaints using the 3-step process
  • cleaning both interior and exterior restaurant areas regularly
  • receiving and properly storing delivered products
  • handling cash and POS transactions accurately
