Job Description
This job posting is for a position at a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee, not Del Taco LLC. The independent franchisee serves as the employer and is responsible for all employment-related matters including hiring, firing, wages, discipline, staffing, scheduling, and supervision. This means that those hired will work directly under the franchisee's management, creating a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic team focused on delivering exceptional guest experiences within a supportive and structured environment. With the restaurant situated at 25024 Alessandro Blvd, Moreno Valley, CA, this location is a key part of the community and represents the Del Taco brand through its independently operated franchise model.
The role of a Team Member at this Del Taco franchise is pivotal to maintaining the high standards associated with the brand as well as ensuring guests receive outstanding service every time they visit. Team Members are expected to bring enthusiasm, positivity, and dedication to their work, contributing to a vibrant and optimistic restaurant culture. This position is designed for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are passionate about customer service, food safety, and teamwork. Essential job functions include delivering quality food and service while adhering strictly to safety, security, and cleanliness standards that reflect the brand's reputation.
As a Team Member, you will be responsible for effectively using the Point of Sale system to handle orders and payments accurately, demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of menu items and assisting guests in their selections. The role also emphasizes maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, adhering to food handling protocols, and upholding the company’s grooming and professional standards. This position demands physical stamina, including the ability to stand and walk for nearly the entire shift and the capability to bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds. Candidates must be at least 16 years old, with a high school diploma or equivalent preferred and may require a Food Handler certification.
The restaurant’s culture centers on creating rewarding and exciting experiences not just for guests but for team members as well, fostering strong relationships among colleagues, managers, and patrons alike. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals seeking entry-level employment in the hospitality and fast-food industry with potential for growth and development under experienced leadership. Whether you are a student, part-time worker, or someone looking to build a career in food service, this role offers a supportive work environment where your contributions directly impact the success and atmosphere of the restaurant.
