This role is an entry-level opportunity designed for motivated individuals passionate about customer service and food preparation. As a team member at Pollo Nation, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks related to both front-of-house and back-of-house operations. The position involves greeting and assisting customers, taking and relaying food and beverage orders, cooking and preparing menu items, and maintaining a clean and inviting dining area. Employees learn to use various kitchen equipment efficiently and safely, manage orders using modern point-of-sale technology, and contribute to the smooth day-to-day operation of the restaurant.

Job Duties

Greet and thank customers
place customer food and beverage orders through verbal communication and/or automated systems
relay customer food and beverage orders from service counter to kitchen operations
cook, prepare, package and pour food and beverages using kitchen equipment while following food safety and sanitation procedures
stock kitchen and customer service operations with necessary food, beverage, packaging and service materials
fill food and beverage orders as part of coordinated kitchen and customer service operations
collect customer payments and return proper change using cash register
unload deliveries of food, beverage, packaging and serving materials
clean interior and exterior of restaurant including floors, tables, kitchenware and equipment
observe and follow alcoholic beverage laws when applicable
maintain safe public access to the restaurant
perform other duties as assigned by management
