Job Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Ability to stand and walk for 90-95 percent of the shift
- Ability to lift and carry 15-25 pounds
- Ability to listen to guest orders and operate cash registers
- Ability to read video monitors
- Ability to communicate clearly in English
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
- Physical ability to perform tasks required in a fast food restaurant environment
Job Qualifications
- Guest service or food cook/preparation experience helpful
- Strong communication skills in English
- Ability to perform basic math calculations
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work effectively in a diverse team setting
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Knowledge of food safety standards is beneficial
Job Duties
- Provides excellent guest service by following Jack in the Box procedures and standards
- Maintains cleanliness of restaurant interior and exterior including dining areas, restrooms, and workstations
- Prepares and assembles food items according to quality and safety standards
- Operates kitchen equipment such as fryers and maintains work area organization
- Takes and processes customer orders accurately using POS system
- Handles guest complaints professionally using the 3-step problem solving approach
- Works collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient restaurant operations
