Job Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Ability to stand and walk 90-95% of shift and move freely throughout the restaurant
- Ability to lift and carry 15-25 lbs
- Ability to listen to guests' orders and operate cash register
- Ability to read and understand English
- Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
- Must follow Jack in the Box uniform and grooming standards
- Willingness to work flexible hours including peak times
- Dependable and reliable with a positive customer-focused attitude
Job Qualifications
- Guest service or food cook/preparation experience helpful
- Comfortable working in a high volume, fast-paced restaurant environment
- Ability to understand and communicate clearly in English
- Ability to perform basic math including addition, subtraction, and multiplication
- Ability to multitask effectively and work well in a team environment
- Knowledge of food safety standards and customer service etiquette is a plus
- Positive attitude with willingness to learn and adapt
Job Duties
- Deliver exceptional guest service by working various workstations according to procedures
- Greet and assist guests warmly in dine-in and drive-thru environments
- Take and process orders accurately using POS systems
- Assemble and prepare food products ensuring quality, presentation, and safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness and stock supplies in all restaurant areas including interior, exterior, and kitchen
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation and guest satisfaction
- Comply with all food safety and hygiene policies and report any concerns promptly
