As a member of the operations team, this role reports directly to the General Manager and plays a pivotal part in both guest interactions and behind-the-scenes food preparation. In this role, the team member acts as an ambassador of the MAD Greens culture, consistently promoting a fun and collaborative spirit within the restaurant. Responsibilities span greeting guests warmly, taking food orders, handling transactions, and ensuring all food is prepared fresh daily according to operational standards. They are skilled in multitasking, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to safety and sanitation guidelines throughout the restaurant.

Job Duties

  • Greet guests to make them feel comfortable and welcome
  • take guests' food orders and handle cash and credit transactions
  • follow MAD Greens operational policies and procedures including those for cash handling and safety/security
  • demonstrate knowledge of the brand and menu items
  • make the availability of fresh ingredients possible on a daily basis
  • cut, slice vegetables and fruits and store them properly
  • rotate food items in cold storage and discard expired items
  • sort, chop, and store food items for cooking purposes
  • serve food to guests in a courteous and timely manner
  • quickly and accurately prepare food items
  • follow sanitation and safety procedures including knife handling and kitchen equipment
  • maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant including dining room, restrooms, kitchen and prep areas
  • effectively handle guest concerns and complaints
  • work as a team to prepare the restaurant for each shift
  • act with integrity, honesty and promote the culture of MAD Greens
  • maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
  • contribute to a positive team environment
