The MAD Greens Team Member role is an integral position within the Operations department, reporting directly to the General Manager. This full-time position is designed for enthusiastic and passionate individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, upbeat setting and enjoy interacting with both guests and fellow team members. The Team Member becomes the face of MAD Greens, responsible for delivering top-notch hospitality and contributing positively to the store’s culture and overall performance.

As a MAD Greens Team Member, you will be expected to greet guests warmly, take accurate food orders, and manage cash and credit transactions with integrity and efficiency. Your role will also encompass maintaining the availability of fresh ingredients by prepping vegetables and fruits, ensuring proper food storage and rotation, and adhering to strict sanitation and safety standards, including careful knife handling and kitchen equipment use. You will play a key role in keeping the restaurant clean, organized, and ready for service by participating in setup and breakdown routines and maintaining all dining, kitchen, and restroom areas.

Job Duties

  • Greet guests to make them feel comfortable and welcome
  • Take guests’ food orders and handle cash and credit transactions
  • Follow MAD Greens operational policies and procedures including those for cash handling and safety/security
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the brand and menu items
  • Make the availability of fresh ingredients possible on a daily basis
  • Cut, slice vegetables and fruits and store them properly
  • Rotate food items in cold storage and trash any expired items
  • Sort, chop, and store food items that need to be used for cooking purposes
  • Serve food to guests in a courteous and timely manner
  • Quickly and accurately prepare food items
  • Follow sanitation and safety procedures including knife handling and kitchen equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant and ensure proper setup and/or breakdown of the entire restaurant including dining room, restrooms, kitchen and prep areas
  • Effectively handle guest concerns and complaints
  • Work as a team to prepare the restaurant for each shift
  • Act with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promotes the culture of Snappy Salads
  • Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
  • Contribute to a positive team environment
