Team members will serve as the face of the gym, engaging with members and guests through friendly greetings, supportive interactions, and efficient service. Responsibilities include welcoming new and existing members, providing detailed membership information, and guiding tours that highlight the unique amenities and programs offered. Employees are also expected to keep the space exceptionally clean, contributing to a positive and inviting atmosphere. This role is multifaceted, incorporating customer service, operational tasks such as point-of-sale transactions and phone etiquette, and occasional smoothie preparation for locations equipped with a smoothie bar.
Beyond these duties, team members play a critical role in managing member concerns, assisting with billing issues, and escalating unresolved problems to leadership when necessary. Continuous learning is emphasized through regular training sessions available via the company's Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring that staff remain knowledgeable about current offerings and equipment functionality. Participation in team meetings fosters collaboration and keeps the team aligned with company goals. Job Requirements
- Able to read, write, and speak clearly in English
- Capability to walk and climb stairs while touring the gym
- Ability to bend, kneel, and perform repetitive arm movements
- Stand for long periods
- Proficient in computer operations
- Ability to lift at least 50lbs
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties
- Welcome, greet, and interact with all members, prospective members, and guests
- Provide membership information and facilitate tours
- Complete daily cleaning tasks and ensure gym presentation is always extraordinarily clean
- Membership sign-ups, answering phones, point-of-sale transactions, and addressing member concerns
- Assist with billing issues and disputes and escalate to leadership when needed
- Regularly review and complete all training materials and updates in the Learning Management System (LMS)
- Maintain knowledge and assist members with all amenities, membership offerings, fitness programs, and equipment functions
- Make and serve smoothies, if applicable, ensuring they meet customer specifications and maintaining quality standards
- Attend and participate in regularly scheduled team meetings
