Team Member

This job posting is for a restaurant position at an establishment owned and operated by an independent franchisee of Jack in the Box, a well-known fast-food chain. The independent franchisee is responsible for all employment-related matters including hiring, wages, supervision, and other staffing decisions. The role involves performing one or more workstations in the restaurant, across both front and back of house responsibilities. Team members are expected to provide exceptional guest service by acknowledging and greeting customers with a positive attitude, quickly and accurately taking orders, assembling food items to meet high food quality standards, and ensuring food safety at all times. Being well-groomed, friendly, knowledgeable, and prepared are essential qualities, along with the ability to stay calm and productive during busy periods. This position demands flexibility, a strong sense of urgency, and a commitment to teamwork and company policies.

Employees are expected to follow the Jack in the Box Hospitality Model, ensuring that guests feel welcomed, respected, and cared for. In addition to customer service duties, team members assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the restaurant, including dining areas, restrooms, kitchen, outdoor spaces, parking lots, and drive-thru areas. Follow-through on food safety standards includes handling food properly, using gloves and handwashing protocols, and discarding expired or poor-quality items. The position requires physical stamina, including standing and walking for the majority of the shift and lifting moderate weights.
