The role of a Team Member at Boss Chicken is dynamic and multifaceted. A Team Member plays a critical role in delivering excellent customer service and maintaining the restaurant's clean and safe environment. Key responsibilities include greeting guests warmly, accurately processing orders, and addressing customer concerns with professionalism and politeness. Team Members operate cash registers and point-of-sale systems while employing suggestive-selling techniques to enhance sales opportunities. The preparation and packaging of food and drinks, as well as maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen, dining area, restrooms, and outdoor grounds, are essential duties of this position. Furthermore, team members are responsible for adhering to health and safety standards, managing inventory by unloading and stocking supplies, and performing tasks at multiple workstations, including the front counter, drive-thru, food prep area, and fryers. The role demands flexibility, with the need to work various shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age
  • able to lift/move up to 50 pounds
  • no visible tattoos on the head, neck or face above the uniform
  • may perform essential functions and duties, as listed in the restaurant Team Member job description

Job Duties

  • Greets guests with a smile, receives orders, processes payments, and responds appropriately to customer issues
  • operates cash register or point of sale devices, as needed, and uses value-added suggestive-selling techniques to generate additional sales opportunities
  • verifies the accuracy of guests’ orders
  • prepares and packages food and drink products
  • cleans kitchen area, counters, food preparation areas, and utensils
  • cleans dining room, restrooms and exterior grounds
  • maintains health and safety standards in work areas
  • unloads and stocks inventory items as needed
  • performs duties at multiple workstations (e.g., front counter, Drive-Thru, food prep, fryers etc.)
  • prompt and regular attendance on assigned shifts
  • follows BOSS uniform and grooming standards and policies
  • works to resolve issues that may arise in the restaurant
  • learns team effectiveness skills
  • works with others to achieve team goals
