This role at Pollo Nation is pivotal in maintaining the high standards promised to customers. The position entails a variety of tasks related to food preparation, customer service, and ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the restaurant. Candidates will be responsible for greeting and thanking customers warmly, taking and relaying orders accurately, and preparing or packaging food items using kitchen equipment according to company standards for sanitation and safety. The role also includes restocking food and service areas, processing payments, unloading deliveries, and maintaining a clean dining and kitchen environment. Working in a team-focused and fast-paced setting, employees will learn to multitask efficiently while providing a great dining experience. Additionally, this position requires adherence to alcohol laws where applicable and maintaining safe public access to the restaurant. This job does not include supervisory responsibilities but does require the ability to work under pressure, demonstrate excellent communication skills, and maintain a positive attitude. Job Duties
- Greet and thank customers
- place customer food and beverage orders through verbal communication and/or automated systems
- relay customer food and beverage orders from service counter to kitchen operations
- cook, prepare, package and pour food and beverages using kitchen equipment while following proper food safety and sanitation procedures
- stock kitchen and customer service operations with necessary materials
- stock salsa bars with sauces, condiments, paper and utensils
- fill food and beverage orders as part of coordinated kitchen and customer service operations
- collect customer payments and return proper change through cash register use
- unload deliveries of food, beverage, packaging and serving materials to restaurant
- clean interior and exterior of restaurant premises including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, rinsing and polishing
- observe and follow alcoholic beverage laws as applicable
- maintain safe public access to the restaurant
- perform all other duties as assigned by management
