Job Description

Sam's Club is a leading membership-only warehouse club that operates as a division of Walmart, the Fortune #1 company globally. Established with the mission to provide quality products and outstanding customer service, Sam's Club has grown into a trusted name in retail, catering to millions of members across the United States. The company is known for offering exclusive savings, innovative shopping experiences, and a vast selection of merchandise from groceries and electronics to home essentials and bulk items. Sam's Club's commitment to community involvement, sustainability, and corporate social responsibility sets it apart in the retail landscape.

Working at Sam's Club means joining a forward-thinking and dynamic environment that values leadership, team collaboration, and innovation. The company fosters a culture where associates and managers are empowered to grow professionally and contribute meaningfully to the member experience. With competitive pay structures, including performance-based bonuses, and comprehensive benefits, Sam's Club supports the wellbeing and career growth of its employees.

The role of Team Manager at Sam's Club is an exciting leadership opportunity designed for those who are passionate about driving growth, delivering excellent member service, and developing high-performing teams. Team Managers play a vital role in various departments such as Member Experience, Fresh Area, Merchandising, and Freight Flow. They are responsible for leading and inspiring associates to create a seamless shopping experience that meets and exceeds member expectations.

In this position, you will lead by example, embody the company's values, and act as a servant leader who is humble, transparent, and committed to fostering a positive culture. You will champion change by encouraging curiosity, innovation, and the adoption of digital tools, which are crucial in today's evolving retail environment. Strategic thinking and a customer-centric approach are essential, as you will utilize data insights to shape plans that align with Sam's Club's EDLP (Everyday Low Price) and EDLC (Everyday Low Cost) business models.

Team Managers focus heavily on talent management by creating opportunities for associate development, recognizing accomplishments, and building a collaborative environment. Your ability to influence, motivate, and work cross-functionally will directly impact team morale and business results. With a salary range of $62,000 to $84,000 annually, this role offers stability and long-term career potential.

Sam's Club also emphasizes wellness and work-life balance by providing a comprehensive benefits package that supports physical, financial, and personal wellbeing. In addition to competitive pay and bonuses, benefits include medical, vision, and dental coverage, various paid time off policies including parental and family care leave, and financial benefits such as 401(k) plans and stock purchase options. Notably, the Live Better U education program allows associates to pursue further education paid entirely by Walmart, ensuring career advancement opportunities extend beyond the workplace.

Overall, the Team Manager role at Sam's Club offers a challenging and rewarding career path for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced retail environment and are dedicated to making a difference for members, associates, and the community alike.
