The Team Manager role at Panera Bread is an exciting leadership opportunity within the bakery-cafe. As a crucial member of the store's leadership team, the Team Manager is responsible for ensuring that every guest enjoys exceptional food quality, outstanding service, and a positive overall experience. This position involves managing and supporting the team to meet and exceed goals related to sales, speed, order accuracy, and guest satisfaction. The Team Manager will lead through coaching, motivation, and inspiration, fostering a culture of warmth, trust, growth, and belonging.

This role also includes hands-on involvement with the day-to-day operations of the bakery-cafe, including training team members on food safety standards, participating in hiring processes, and maintaining high operational standards. Job Requirements

  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • 1 plus years of restaurant management experience preferred
  • ServSafe certification or ability to achieve certification
  • Ability to lift carry push or pull objects 25 pounds
  • Capability to stand and walk for up to 6 hours
  • Ability to clearly communicate and quickly understand guests and associates directions in a loud environment
  • Flexible hours including nights and weekends
  • Background check clearance

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • 1 plus years of restaurant management experience preferred
  • Proven ability to lead great shifts while directing motivating coaching and developing others in a fast paced environment
  • ServSafe certification or ability to achieve certification
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends

Job Duties

  • Make sure every guest is delighted by the quality of food service and staff
  • Build engaging relationships that lead to long-term loyal guests
