Job Description
Flynn Group is a prominent restaurant franchisor and operator that entered the Panera Bread system in 2015 by acquiring 47 cafes. Since that pivotal point, Flynn Group has remarkably expanded to become the second largest Panera franchisee worldwide. The company continues to strengthen its market presence by opening new stores and acquiring additional franchise operations. Flynn Panera operates under a decentralized business model where leadership is organized regionally. Market Leaders oversee geographic zones, Area Directors manage multiple units, and General Managers handle daily cafe operations. The Assistant Managers support departments and daily management, while Team Managers assist with leadership and operational tasks. This hierarchical approach ensures focused management across all levels to maintain exceptional service standards and business growth.
Flynn Panera is known for its commitment to high-quality, artisan baked goods, fresh soups, salads, and sandwiches served in an upscale yet welcoming cafe environment. Its cafes operate without fryers or late-night hours, promoting a clean, grease-free, and alcohol-free workplace. The team environment fosters a culture of warmth and enthusiasm for exceptional guest experiences.
The Team Manager role at Flynn Panera is designed for motivated, experienced restaurant professionals eager to lead teams and sustain operational excellence. As a Team Manager, the individual will supervise up to 75 staff members, ensuring all guests receive top-tier service in a friendly, performance-oriented setting. Candidates should be passionate about leadership, coaching, customer service, and creating a profitable, positive work environment. The ideal candidate will uphold high standards of restaurant cleanliness, sanitation, food safety, quality, and effective facility management.
In this role, the Team Manager takes on responsibilities including, but not limited to, leading by example, ensuring great customer service, and maintaining a safe, healthy environment in compliance with safety and sanitation policies. They are accountable for organizing and coordinating restaurant operations across shifts to maintain consistent performance and customer satisfaction. In addition to everyday management duties, Team Managers help recruit, train, and motivate staff while promoting company values centered on genuine care, champion spirit, and unified success.
Flynn Panera values employees who operate with a "Run it Like You Own It" mentality, demonstrating passion, positivity, and outstanding organizational skills. This role offers competitive wages ranging from $19.00 to $25.00 per hour plus tips, flexible scheduling, meal discounts, and comprehensive health benefits including medical, dental, vision, and more. Opportunities for career development and a supportive workplace culture make Flynn Panera an outstanding place to grow professionally within the restaurant industry.
Applicants should have a steady employment history in hospitality, strong leadership credentials, excellent social skills, and the ability to thrive under pressure. Physical requirements include the ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds safely. Flynn Group is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion, welcoming candidates from all backgrounds and providing reasonable accommodations when needed.
Joining Flynn Panera means becoming part of a dynamic, growing franchisee within a globally respected group that operates multiple iconic dining brands. It is an excellent opportunity for driven individuals to develop their managerial skills and make a meaningful impact in an industry-leading bakery cafe concept.
