This Team Leader role at Chick-fil-A offers an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about leadership and customer service. Team Leaders play an essential role in assisting the management team in overseeing day-to-day shift operations and ensuring that every guest receives the highest level of satisfaction. This position involves supervising specific stations throughout the entire shift, maintaining quality standards, and stepping in to open or close the restaurant when managers are unavailable. Responsibilities include enforcing recipe adherence, monitoring food preparation accuracy, maintaining cleanliness and organization of workstations, and ensuring compliance with cash handling and security procedures. Team Leaders also manage dining room and facility cleanliness, address guest complaints, deliver constructive employee feedback, and uphold all company policies. Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous leadership or supervisory experience in a restaurant or customer service environment is beneficial

  • dependable and trustworthy with a strong work ethic
  • basic cash handling and math skills

Job Duties

  • insure that team members follow recipes and read tickets to accurately prepare all orders
  • insure that team members are extremely accurate with weights and measurements for all recipe items
  • insure that team members work at a pace to maintain restaurant’s established speed of service guidelines
  • insure that workstations are clean at all times
  • insure that cashiers follow cash handling procedures at all times
  • execute proper security and cash handling and control procedures and hold cashiers accountable to adhering to policies and procedures
  • insure that team members monitor dining room, restroom, parking lot and overall facility cleanliness
  • perform any of the tasks above as needed throughout shift
  • address guest issues that may arise
  • consult with management regarding complex issues
  • maintain a positive working relationship and treat all employees with respect while providing them with direction and feedback
  • communicate employee performance and policy/procedure violations to management for appropriate handling
  • strictly adhere to all company policies and procedures
