Job Requirements

  • at least 18 years of age
  • able to lift up to 100 pounds
  • no high school diploma required
  • previous bakery or retail management experience
  • knowledge of collective bargaining agreements
  • strong organizational skills
  • availability to work necessary hours

Job Qualifications

  • minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
  • knowledge of bakery operations
  • strong leadership and team management skills
  • ability to manage inventory and ordering processes
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • understanding of safety and regulatory standards

Job Duties

  • perform all functions of a bakery manager in their absence
  • ability to understand and adhere to the collective bargaining agreement
  • provide products and services that meet or exceed customer requirements
  • follow procedures to eliminate out-of-stocks, maintain presentation, increase sales, and decrease shrink
  • develop communication processes with other departments to develop marketing plans
  • direct, oversee, and evaluate training to reduce turnover and control labor costs
  • prepare and track records concerning inventories and work processes
