Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year food service industry experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy, and physically demanding environment
  • Ability to spend 90% of working time standing
  • Ability to spend 10% of working time sitting
  • Capacity to use all sensory capabilities including vision, hearing, tasting, smelling, touching, and speaking
  • Physical ability to walk, bend, kneel, handle, reach, squat, crawl, lift, climb, and stoop
  • Ability to carry loads greater than 25 pounds and transport up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Clear communication skills in the primary language of the restaurant
  • Ability to hear with 100% accuracy with correction

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Provide supervision during assigned shifts
  • Provide team members and guests with a positive experience and atmosphere
  • Manage both front-of-house and back-of-house shift responsibilities including scheduling staff to minimize overtime and control labor costs
  • Monitor speed of service to ensure a positive guest experience
  • Handle guest comments and complaints
  • Supervise daily shifts to ensure product quality, cleanliness, and safety standards are maintained
  • Assist in ongoing training of team members including new hires
  • Enforce uniform policy and standards
  • Ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed
  • Open and close restaurant in absence of upper management
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by management
