Job Description

Chick-fil-A is a well-established American fast-food restaurant chain known for its high-quality chicken sandwiches and outstanding customer service. Founded with a commitment to hospitality and community engagement, Chick-fil-A has grown into one of the most beloved dining brands in the United States. Each restaurant is locally owned and operated by independent franchised business owners, who focus on investing in their communities and fostering a positive work culture for their team members. The company is dedicated to creating an environment where teamwork, leadership development, and servant leadership are emphasized, making it much more than just a job but an opportunity to grow personally and professionally.

The Team Leader role at Chick-fil-A plays a crucial part in maintaining the brand's exceptional service standards and operational excellence. This position involves fully embracing Chick-fil-A's culture, which centers on core values such as respect, integrity, and a servant's heart. Team Leaders are passionate about people and serving others, demonstrating character, initiative, and a strong sense of urgency. These leaders support senior management in daily operations and hold team members accountable for executing operational tasks and delivering the company's renowned Recipe for Service.

A Team Leader's primary responsibilities focus on ensuring the restaurant runs smoothly and effectively through hands-on task completion and coaching team members. They lead by example, setting the tone and morale for others to follow. This includes assisting with training new hires, leading shifts, managing customer interactions with respect and responsiveness, and ensuring operational standards are met through accurate drawer counts and shift finalizations. Strong communication skills, the ability to manage team member behavior and performance, and the desire to foster a supportive team environment are essential for success in this role.

Chick-fil-A offers flexible scheduling options, including both full-time and part-time positions, and thoughtfully closes on Sundays to allow team members time for rest and community involvement. Employees benefit from a fun and positive work environment where they can develop leadership skills and receive intentional growth opportunities. Compensation ranges from $17.00 to $19.00 per hour, coupled with benefits such as health, dental, and vision insurance, scholarship opportunities, and competitive pay. This role is designed for individuals who are eager to contribute to a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant setting while growing their career with one of the most reputable names in the industry. Working as a Team Leader at Chick-fil-A means becoming part of a team dedicated to excellence, service, and community impact.
