Known for their dedication to quality and innovation, Oshkosh AeroTech operates some of the most trusted brands in the air transportation industry such as LEKTRO®, JetAire®, JetPower®, AmpTekÔ, Jetway®, and others. These product lines are integral to supporting some of the toughest and most essential work done within airport environments and aviation operations worldwide. The company is part of Oshkosh Corporation, a respected leader in the manufacturing sector, which adds stability and a reputable background to its aviation-specific offerings.

This position takes responsibility for organizing daily production activities, maintaining safety standards, managing costs, preventing defects, and ensuring timely product delivery by employing Relentless Continuous Improvement (RCI) methods. The Team Lead will work on building high-quality products on schedule while maximizing productive time and fostering continuous improvement within their team. Through collaboration with senior leaders and direct oversight of technicians, the Team Lead will help instill a culture of excellence and operational efficiency that aligns with the company’s values and targets.
This job requires a dynamic leader capable of managing a team through coaching, delegation, and monitoring progress to meet production deadlines. The Team Lead will play a critical supporting role to senior management by handling employee relations, administering timekeeping, and coordinating the development and enforcement of standard operating procedures (SOPs). A significant aspect of the role includes identifying opportunities for improvement and driving corrective actions through problem-solving techniques like root cause analysis, A3 reports, and kaizen events. Communication is key as the Team Lead must effectively interface with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and elimination of waste while continuously driving 5S activities and upholding ISO compliance requirements.
Candidates in this role should bring extensive manufacturing experience, proven leadership skills, and the ability to thrive in diverse and multicultural environments. Technical skills in ERP systems such as Syteline, Microsoft Office, and Adobe are essential, along with certifications like forklift and crane operation. The company encourages growth by offering training in lean leadership, supervisor skills, and problem-solving to enhance the influence and capabilities of the Team Lead. Oshkosh AeroTech values inclusivity, equal opportunity, and accommodations for individuals with disabilities throughout the recruitment process, reinforcing its commitment to a supportive workplace culture.
