Job Duties
- Lead and supervise a team of converting operators providing guidance and support to ensure daily production targets are met
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the converting department ensuring adherence to production schedules and workflow management
- Implement and monitor production processes ensuring they align with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and quality control standards
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the converting department identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement effective problem-solving strategies to minimize downtime and maintain product quality
- Coordinate with other departments such as planning and operations to ensure seamless integration of converting activities
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to team members fostering their professional development and skill enhancement
- Monitor and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to assess team and department performance reporting findings to management
- Ensure a safe working environment by promoting and enforcing safety protocols and procedures
- Manage the scheduling of personnel and resources to optimize production output
