Known for its commitment to safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction, Messer operates as a reputable company focused on creating lasting relationships with clients, communities, and employees alike. The company specializes in delivering bulk gases to various industries, ensuring that their customers remain safe, sustainable, productive, and efficient in their operations. Messer's dedication to nurturing its workforce and fostering a positive work environment makes it a standout employer in the transportation and logistics sector.
The role offered by Messer is that of a Bulk Team CDL-A Truck Driver. This is a specialized position designed for experienced drivers who are ready to run bulk gases to customers and delivery points throughout an assigned region. The job requires working in teams, where drivers can expect to be on the road for about four weeks at a time followed by seven days at home. As a Bulk Team CDL-A Truck Driver, you will be responsible for operating state-of-the-art, meticulously maintained vehicles while representing Messer with professionalism and integrity to the customers and communities served. The compensation for this role ranges between $115,000 and $125,000 per year per driver, a competitive salary that reflects the skill and dedication required for the position.
Messer provides a $7,500 sign-on bonus per driver as a welcoming incentive. Additional earnings can be made through safety bonuses and a driver referral bonus program that awards $4,000 for successful referrals, rewarding drivers for their commitment to safety and teamwork. The company offers a comprehensive and affordable benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, effective the first day of the month following the start date. Employees also have access to a 401(k) retirement plan with a company match after one year of service, enabling drivers to plan their financial future responsibly.
Joining Messer means becoming part of a culture that prioritizes safety above all else. The company is committed to providing a workplace where the well-being of employees is the number one priority. The training program includes paid on-the-job training and advanced training opportunities that incorporate cutting-edge technology such as virtual reality, ensuring drivers are fully prepared to succeed and advance their careers. Messer promotes growth and advancement within the company, offering opportunities for drivers to enhance their skills and move up the ranks.
Additional benefits include paid time off (PTO), two weeks of vacation, and paid holidays, giving drivers ample opportunity to recharge and maintain a healthy work-life balance. Messer understands the importance of investing in its drivers' personal and professional growth, creating an environment where drivers feel supported and valued. This is not just another driving job; it is a rewarding career with a company that respects and rewards the hard work of its employees.
If you hold a Class A Commercial Driver's License with Tanker and HAZMAT endorsements and have at least one year of tractor-trailer driving experience with a clean driving record, Messer invites you to apply and join their dedicated team. Having a team partner is required for this position, emphasizing the collaborative nature of the work. With Messer, drivers gain access to comprehensive benefits, competitive pay, steady schedules, and a company culture that genuinely prioritizes safety, innovation, and employee satisfaction.
