The role of Team Captain – Endzone & Loyalty, based within their stores, is an essential leadership position designed to enhance the athlete experience through coaching teammates, managing loyalty program engagement, and delivering efficient checkout services. This position involves spearheading initiatives that build strong athlete relationships and foster athlete retention while maintaining operational excellence. The Team Captain also plays a critical role in merchandising standards, staff development, and overall store leadership, including acting as Head Coach when necessary.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging approximately from $53,500 to $67,500 annually, along with a comprehensive total rewards package that includes incentives, equity opportunities, and extensive benefits. Job Duties

  • Deliver outstanding athlete experiences by anticipating athlete needs and providing clear, accurate, and knowledgeable information about products and assortment
  • Uphold company merchandising and presentation standards by following established floor sets, signage requirements, price changes, inventory presentation, replenishment standards, etc
  • Promote and lead company programs, i.e., customer loyalty program participation, warranty sales, private label credit card enrollment
  • Contribute to the development of 30-60-90 day plans to support business priorities for assigned departments together with the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager
  • Execute plans and make adjustments using independent judgment and analysis of plan effectiveness
  • Act as Head Coach and perform general store oversight including opening and closing procedures, Front End and Cash Office functions, teammate supervision when sole leader in building
  • Communicate departmental goals and plans to direct reports and assign workload to maximize efficiencies
  • Develop effective schedules to meet athlete traffic demands and operational goals
  • Build and lead a strong, effective team through sourcing, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, feedback, development, recognition, and motivation
  • Manage performance including annual reviews and promotional recommendations, hold teammates accountable for compliance with policies and procedures
  • Adhere to and enforce policies related to safety, loss prevention, standard operating procedures, and laws/guidelines of external governing entities
