Job Requirements
- US Work Authorization
- Comfortable being on your feet and moving around the classroom throughout the day
- Able to lift up to 20 lbs and safely assist students when needed including kneeling bending quick response
- Additional physical requirements may be requested during your application process
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 48 credits and higher
- Experience working with children with special educational needs
- Experience working with personal care
- Professional proficiency in English
- Past work experience in a school
- CPI Training
Job Duties
- Assisting the classroom teacher
- Work with individual and or small groups of students to reinforce instructed material
- Assist in compiling classroom communications
- Maintain a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and a safe learning environment
- Utilize a variety of learning methods to enhance the student learning experiences and support them as needed
- Support with personal care or hygiene as needed including toileting
