Job Description
Zen Educate is a forward-thinking educational staffing company dedicated to addressing the nationwide shortage of qualified educators. By building strong connections between schools and passionate educational support staff such as teaching assistants and paraprofessionals, Zen Educate plays a vital role in creating inclusive, nurturing, and effective learning environments for students. The organization prides itself on facilitating smart, efficient matches that benefit not only schools and teachers but also the broader community by ensuring each student receives the attention and support they need to thrive. Operating as a trusted partner within the education sector, Zen Educate focuses on fostering long-term relationships that enhance educational outcomes and professional satisfaction for its staff members.
The role offered is that of a Teacher Aide for the 2026-2027 school year, an essential position within any classroom setting. As a Teacher Aide, you will work under the direct supervision of lead teachers to help create a positive, supportive educational atmosphere for students. Your primary responsibilities include providing individualized attention to students who require extra support, assisting with the implementation of lesson plans and behavior intervention strategies, and managing classroom logistics to ensure a smooth daily operation. This position is crucial in supporting students with diverse learning needs, fostering their academic and social development, and reinforcing the teacher’s efforts in maintaining an effective classroom environment.
Candidates for this role should expect to engage closely with students who have special educational needs, assist in behavioral interventions such as Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) or Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and provide personal care where necessary, including assistance with hygiene and feeding. Collaboration and communication are key aspects of the job, as you will liaise regularly with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure every student’s progress and well-being are supported consistently. The role offers a competitive pay rate ranging from $24 to $25 per hour, with weekly payment schedules, and work hours primarily from Monday to Friday, between 7:30 am and 3:00 or 4:30 pm, making it an excellent fit for individuals seeking rewarding daytime hours without weekend commitments.
Zen Educate values ongoing professional development, offering staff opportunities to participate in specialized training sessions focused on the latest approaches in special education and behavioral support. This commitment to career growth ensures their employees are always equipped with updated knowledge and skills, further enhancing the quality of education provided to students. The company also promotes a supportive work environment where staff are respected, motivated, and recognized for their contributions.
Overall, joining Zen Educate as a Teacher Aide is not only a promising employment opportunity but also a chance to make a tangible difference in the lives of young learners. Whether you bring prior experience in special education or are motivated by a passion for helping children succeed, this role offers meaningful work, competitive compensation, and the support of a dedicated team. Apply now to secure your classroom position for the upcoming school year and start contributing to the future of education today.
