Zen Educate is currently seeking passionate and dedicated Para Educators for the 2026-2027 school year. These roles are pivotal in supporting students with a broad spectrum of special education needs, ranging from mild to severe. The Para Educator role is designed for individuals who want to make a real and lasting impact in the educational journey of students requiring additional support. As a Para Educator, you will work closely alongside classroom teachers to provide behavioral support, individualized assistance, and practical aid that fosters a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Candidates will be responsible for implementing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), providing one-on-one or small group support that encourages self-regulation, social-emotional growth, and active engagement in classroom activities. This role also involves direct communication and collaboration with teachers, parents, and school staff to maintain consistent and effective support strategies tailored for each student’s success. Additionally, Para Educators may assist with personal care needs such as toileting, feeding, and dressing, making this a hands-on role ideal for those committed to holistic student well-being.

This position offers competitive compensation ranging from $20 to $23 per hour, paid weekly. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, generally within the hours of 7:30 AM to 3:00 or 4:30 PM, with no weekend work required.
