The role of the TDR Barista at Pechanga Resort Casino is pivotal in delivering the overall guest experience at the TDR Blends outlet. This position involves providing prompt, courteous, and informed service of food and beverages to internal guests, ensuring their satisfaction with each interaction. The TDR Barista is responsible not only for order taking but also for maintaining the cleanliness and readiness of the TDR Blends display, counters, and work areas. The role requires a strong commitment to the Four Diamond Service standards, compliance with all operational procedures, and a team-oriented approach to support the outlet’s goals.

This position is ideal for individuals passionate about coffee and hospitality, possessing the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while delivering personalized guest service. The Barista must be knowledgeable about the food and beverage menu, capable of handling cash transactions using the Micros POS system, and proficient in offering quality guest engagement. They also play a critical role in maintaining stock levels, cleanliness, and adhering to safety and operational policies within the outlet. While the position does not include supervisory responsibilities, the TDR Barista is expected to be a reliable team player who assists coworkers and is willing to cross-train to meet the outlet’s needs effectively.

Job Duties

adhere to all rules, policies and regulations as stated in the Pechanga Team Member Handbook while striving to improve standards of operation
ensure that the standard operating procedures for food and beverage are followed
work as a team player and assist coworkers in achieving goals of the outlet
willing to cross train and assist TDR when needed
display knowledge of the food and beverage menu and pricing for TDR Blends
responsible for taking internal guest orders, placing them in Micros POS and collecting payment
follow proper cash handling procedures, maintain the cash drawer and follow appropriate closing cash handling policies and procedures
assist internal guests in a friendly and professional manner while meeting or exceeding their expectations
maintain appropriate stock of condiments and supplies
sweep and mop floors and empty trash as needed
other duties as assigned
