Job Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university plus one year of full-time experience in contracting or purchasing
  • Or five years of full-time experience in contracting or purchasing
  • Must obtain the Texas Contract Manager Certification (CTCM) within twelve months of hire date

Job Qualifications

  • Experience preparing and managing contracts for facilities and services to support events
  • Experience coordinating seminars, workshops, and conferences

Job Duties

  • Plan, develop, coordinate, and administer educational outreach workshops and events targeted to the regulated community for TCEQ
  • Prepare and manage contracts for facilities and services to support events
  • Monitor contract performance including corrective action as appropriate
  • Coordinate, plan, and oversee seminars and workshops
  • Assist with the planning of conferences
  • Develop web applications and documents in coordination with the Lead Internet Developer
  • Ensure materials posted on agency web sites conform to agency standards including accessibility standards
