Known for its flagship product, TurboTax, Intuit empowers individuals and small businesses to effectively manage their taxes and finances with confidence and ease. The company prides itself on its commitment to customer success, technological innovation, and community engagement, making it a trusted name in the financial services industry. Intuit's dynamic environment fosters growth, encourages entrepreneurial spirit, and values a collaborative culture focused on delivering exceptional customer experiences.

The Tax Associate - TurboTax Store role is a vital position within Intuit's retail ecosystem, offering a unique opportunity to be part of an engaging, community-focused team. This role is primarily seasonal but offers year-round opportunities based on location and performance. Tax Associates work on-site at one of Intuit's new TurboTax locations across the United States, serving customers both in-person and virtually. The role combines tax expertise, customer service excellence, and business development skills to build and nurture long-term relationships with clients. Tax Associates serve as proactive ambassadors for TurboTax within their local communities, leading events, engaging prospects, and converting them into loyal clients through personalized tax preparation services and trustworthy advice.

In this position, candidates will utilize Intuit's state-of-the-art software and marketing support to provide comprehensive tax solutions, ranging from simple to complex filings, including business income, deductions optimization, amendments, and future tax planning. They will leverage resources such as government websites and professional tools to deliver accurate, accessible tax advice tailored to each client's unique situation. Exceptional communication skills and empathy are essential components, helping clients overcome the often stressful tax filing process and achieve positive financial outcomes tied to their goals, such as saving for retirement, education, weddings, or vacations.

The role demands flexibility, professionalism, and a customer-first mindset, with working hours that may vary based on customer demand, including weekends. Candidates must have the appropriate certifications, including active EA, CPA, or attorney credentials with tax expertise, a valid PTIN, and necessary state licenses or permits. Intuit values entrepreneurial individuals who are motivated to grow their customer base, build a social presence, and contribute to local marketing efforts. Bilingual abilities, especially in English and Spanish, and experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond filing, are considered advantageous.

Compensation in this role is competitive and includes a base pay that varies by state, with added incentives through performance bonuses and equity rewards. Intuit supports its team members with a comprehensive benefits package and promotes pay equity through ongoing assessments. Tax Associates will also proudly represent TurboTax in marketing initiatives, enjoying visibility both locally and nationally. This position suits individuals passionate about empowering others, solving tax challenges, and thriving in a fast-paced, customer-centered retail environment.
