The firm operates through an alternative practice structure in compliance with the AICPA Code of Professional Conduct alongside applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards. Baker Tilly US, LLP is a licensed independent CPA firm primarily offering attest services, while Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP and its subsidiaries provide tax and business advisory services. Moreover, Baker Tilly is a member of Baker Tilly International, a global network encompassing independent accounting firms in 141 territories with more than 43,000 professionals and a combined revenue of $5.2 billion.

Those who join Baker Tilly can expect to engage closely with clients across a variety of middle market industries, becoming trusted business advisors who deliver industry-focused tax advisory and compliance services.

The Corporate Tax Senior Associate will be a vital member of engagement teams handling a range of services, including compliance, consulting, and specialized tax projects for corporations, partnerships, and multinational companies. Expertise in ASC 740 and familiarity with complex tax issues will be important, as the role involves drafting responses to IRS inquiries and collaborating with specialty tax practices across areas such as state and local taxation, high net worth individuals, international tax, research and development credits, and incentives. The role encourages entrepreneurial approaches to client management and networking within the firm.

Baker Tilly values professional growth, offering structured programs like My Time Off, My Development, and Dress for Your Day that empower employees to balance their career ambitions with personal needs. The firm fosters a collaborative culture where team members support each other's development through mentoring and shared learning experiences. Team outings and social activities further promote a healthy work-life balance.

Candidates interested in this role should be passionate about becoming industry experts, working directly with clients to craft innovative solutions for complex tax and business challenges. The Corporate Tax Senior Associate position offers a competitive pay range varying by location within California, from $85,500 to $128,690, reflecting factors such as skills, experience, certifications, and geographical considerations. This role will appeal to professionals eager to build a rewarding career with a firm whose leadership is transparent and committed to both client and employee success.
