Job Description

Intuit is a leading financial software company recognized globally for powering prosperity around the world through innovative products and services tailored to individuals, small businesses, and the self-employed. Known especially for its flagship product TurboTax, Intuit supports millions of customers each year by simplifying the complexities of taxation and financial management. As a trusted leader in the fintech industry, Intuit combines cutting-edge technology with expert guidance to empower users and help them make confident financial decisions. The company’s culture promotes innovation, diversity, and community engagement, fostering an environment where employees are encouraged to grow both professionally and personally.

Intuit is currently hiring Tax Associates for its new TurboTax Store locations across the United States on a seasonal basis, with some year-round opportunities. This position offers a unique blend of community interaction, entrepreneurial spirit, and professional tax expertise. Tax Associates work directly with customers to provide personalized tax preparation services, guiding them through everything from simple tax returns to complex filings involving personal and business income, deductions, amendments, and tax planning. Sitting at the intersection of customer service, tax expertise, and business growth, this role is pivotal in expanding TurboTax’s presence within local communities and establishing trusted, long-term relationships with clients.

As a Tax Associate, you will be an on-site ambassador of TurboTax, responsible for both in-person and virtual client engagements, leveraging Intuit’s advanced tax software and marketing tools. Your duties will range from proactive community outreach, leading local events, and nurturing new client relationships to delivering expert tax advice with an empathetic and personalized approach. The role demands a customer-first mindset and strong communication skills to make taxation accessible and less intimidating for clients. Additionally, the position requires you to stay informed about the latest tax laws and utilize resources including government websites and professional tools to ensure accuracy.

This role requires a minimum of 20 hours per week onsite at TurboTax retail or flagship locations, with an expectation to support varying schedules, including weekends and potentially peak tax seasons. Intuit emphasizes the importance of career development and flexibility by matching employee availability and goals during the hiring process. Compensation for this position is competitive and regionally based, offering a base pay ranging approximately between $22.00 to $28.50 per hour depending on location, along with eligibility for cash bonuses, equity rewards, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Joining Intuit as a Tax Associate means becoming part of a forward-thinking company that values community connection, entrepreneurial drive, and exceptional customer service. If you are passionate about helping others navigate taxes while growing a client base in a dynamic retail environment, this opportunity offers valuable professional growth within a respected brand committed to your success and prosperity.
