Your day-to-day responsibilities involve engaging customers both in-person and virtually, ensuring their individual tax situations are handled with accuracy and care. You will offer hands-on tax preparation services for a variety of tax scenarios, including personal and business income, deduction optimization, amendments, and tax planning. Your expertise will help clients minimize their tax liabilities and maximize refunds, while also uncovering opportunities for future tax savings. As a key community ambassador for TurboTax, you will participate in local marketing initiatives, lead events, and create educational content that makes the often complicated topic of taxes approachable and accessible.

The ideal candidate will have active professional credentials such as EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or be a practicing attorney with strong tax preparation experience. The role requires familiarity with relevant tax laws and regulations, including Circular 230, and a minimum of three years filing 50 or more individual federal and state 1040 tax returns per season using professional tax software. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, front-facing retail environment, wearing the TurboTax uniform, and engaging with clients in a friendly, professional manner. Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are a plus, as is a passion for community outreach and building an online social presence related to tax education.
