The Tax Associate - TurboTax Store role is a unique and dynamic seasonal or year-round position based at one of Intuit’s new TurboTax retail locations throughout the United States. This role combines tax expertise with entrepreneurial skills and community involvement, focusing on both attracting new customers and delivering exceptional tax-related services. The Tax Associate acts as a trusted advisor to clients, helping them navigate their complex tax situations and achieve positive financial outcomes. As an ambassador of TurboTax, the associate represents Intuit’s brand locally, engaging with the community through events, marketing efforts, and personalized service.

In this position, the associate works on-site in a front-facing retail environment, providing hands-on tax preparation services for both simple and complex tax returns involving personal and business incomes, deductions, amendments, and future tax planning. The role requires building strong customer relationships, utilizing TurboTax software and marketing tools, and educating clients to reduce the stress often associated with tax preparation. Associates interact with customers in person and virtually, offering professional tax advice and exceptional customer experiences.

This opportunity is ideal for candidates with active credentials such as EA, CPA, or practicing attorneys with extensive tax knowledge and experience. Compensation for the position is competitive and varies by location, ranging from approximately $22.00 to $28.50 per hour depending on the state, with additional eligibility for cash bonuses, equity rewards, and benefits.
