Intuit is seeking highly motivated individuals to join its dynamic team as Tax Associates at TurboTax Store locations across the United States on a seasonal or year-round basis. This role provides a unique fusion of tax expertise, entrepreneurial spirit, and community engagement. Tax Associates will serve as trusted advisors to customers, helping them navigate their tax needs with confidence through in-person and virtual support using Intuit TurboTax products.

As a Tax Associate working on-site at TurboTax retail or flagship locations, you will play a vital role in expanding TurboTax's local presence by proactively engaging with the community, attracting new clients, and fostering long-term relationships built on trust and excellent service. You will leverage TurboTax's marketing support, software tools, and community events to successfully grow a thriving client base.

This position demands a strong foundation in tax preparations, including handling simple to complex tax situations such as personal and business income, deductions optimization, and filing amendments. You will conduct discovery sessions to identify opportunities for minimizing tax liabilities and maximizing client refunds, while providing sound tax planning advice in everyday language. Your ability to demystify taxes and create a welcoming environment makes a significant impact by alleviating the stress customers often associate with tax season.

The role also highlights a customer-centric approach, encouraging associates to cultivate meaningful connections that transform single interactions into loyal, ongoing client relationships. Using advanced video communication tools and in-person consultations, Tax Associates address inquiries, provide product support, and offer holistic tax advisory services.

Candidates must be comfortable working in a busy, front-facing retail environment with flexible hours, including weekends, and thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting. Additional expectations include building a social media presence related to tax expertise, participating in local events, and representing TurboTax as a community ambassador.

Intuit values candidates with specialized credentials such as EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or practicing attorneys with solid tax preparation experience and knowledge of tax laws. Having an active PTIN and the ability to obtain any required state licenses or permits is mandatory. Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) and experience with comprehensive tax advisory beyond simple filing are considered strong advantages.

This position offers competitive compensation with an expected base pay range varying by location (e.g., $22.00 to $28.50 per hour) supplemented by a performance-based bonus, equity rewards, and a comprehensive benefits package.
