The Tasting Room Helper/Assistant position at WFE serves a critical role in providing an exceptionally high level of customer service within the tasting room and sales environments. This role supports Wine Sales Ambassadors by performing vital customer service duties such as assisting guests with their wine purchases, including carrying out and delivering wine to vehicles, helping with packing, and ensuring that every guest’s experience exceeds expectations. The role involves maintaining the tasting and wine rooms with neatness and order, restocking wine and merchandise, and supporting special events and hospitality functions. Tasting Room Helpers actively participate in setting up and tearing down tasting room special events, assisting with shipping orders and labeling, maintaining wine inventory by vintage and varietal, and organizing supplies in the stock room. Candidates for this role need to be physically capable of standing and walking for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and preferably have forklift experience. The position also demands manual dexterity and communication skills to operate equipment and interact effectively with guests and team members.
