The hotel boasts 93 rooms, each featuring private terraces that allow guests to soak in the natural surroundings. The property provides guests with access to a pool accompanied by a community deck and the unique Q Hut pavilion, making it an excellent location for relaxation and social gatherings. The Beverage Manager role at Carpenter Hotel is a pivotal position centered around the acclaimed Carpenters Hall restaurant and its vibrant Hall Bar. This role is responsible for bringing to life the vision of the Beverage Program at Carpenters Hall, serving as the cultural heart and creative driver behind the beverage offerings and guest experiences. As the Beverage Manager, the individual will lead the bar team’s daily operations, ensuring that consistency and excellence are maintained not only in the beverages but also in the intangible guest experience associated with the bar. Critical to the role is the Beverage Manager’s ability to foster a positive and motivational work environment while overseeing operational effectiveness. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 3 years experience in food and beverage management
- thorough understanding of company policies and SOPs
- ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
- must comply with all state, federal and corporate alcohol regulations
- strong organizational and multitasking skills
- proficiency in inventory and cost control management
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience in beverage management or similar role
- strong leadership and team coaching skills
- excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities
- comprehensive knowledge of beverage service and bar operations
- familiarity with health and safety regulations
- ability to manage budgets and control costs
- experience with staff training and development
Job Duties
- Be present in operations, the market, and competitive set to position as industry leader
- coach bar leaders on profitability and financial responsibility
- create and improve organizational effectiveness of Bar operations and beverage prep
- work cohesively with leadership team to promote brand culture and uphold service standards
- perpetuate positive teaching environment to encourage team ownership of guest experience
- manage bar labor and control liquor, beer and NA COGS
- ensure compliance with SOPs, safety regulations and federal, state, and local alcohol laws
