The Task Force Manager at Lodgco Hospitality plays an integral role in supporting operational excellence across the hotel portfolio. This is a high-impact leadership position requiring a versatile and experienced professional ready to influence multiple properties through strategic leadership and hands-on involvement. A unique aspect of this role is the extensive travel requirement, where the manager will be expected to travel 100% across various hotel locations nationwide. This role is designed for a dynamic individual who thrives in fast-paced environments and excels at mentoring and assisting hotel teams during transitions and operational initiatives. Task Force Managers work closely with the corporate team, provide comprehensive sales support, and ensure adherence to company policies, especially those related to guest and employee safety. With flexible travel schedules that may include assignments of up to ten consecutive days on-site followed by four days off, this leadership position offers the chance to expand one’s professional influence, support property management, and contribute directly to the company’s continuous success. Preference is given to candidates residing in Florida or Michigan, but dedication to the travel demands is paramount regardless of location. Key competencies for success include strong leadership and teamwork skills, excellent verbal and written communication, time management, problem-solving capabilities, and proficiency with multiple property management systems. Candidates with experience in Hilton, Marriott, or Hyatt brands and those with prior sales experience are highly favored. This is a full-time role requiring physical stamina, flexibility, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while traveling. The Task Force Manager is entrusted with overseeing assigned hotels, assisting with managerial onboarding and training, and engaging in corporate projects when not on assignment at properties. Job Requirements

  • Must have 5 plus years of experience as a department supervisor or manager in select service hotels
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Multi unit experience preferred
  • Sales experience preferred
  • Experience with Hilton Marriott or Hyatt brands
  • Travel is approximately 100 percent with overnight travel required
  • Valid driver's license and safe driving record
  • Satisfactory criminal background screening required
  • Professional references

Job Duties

  • Ensures operational excellence by providing support critique and guidance to hotels
  • Must have working knowledge hands on experience with multiple property management systems
  • Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned
  • Assist with onboarding and training of new managers and supervisors
  • Provide comprehensive sales support to properties as required including overseeing sales teams assisting with sales activities and ensuring alignment with company sales initiatives
  • Ensure proper administration of company policies and procedures for protecting the safety of guests and employees
  • When not assigned to a hotel property the Task Force Manager will support the corporate team with additional projects and responsibilities as needed
  • Assist hotel managers during property transitions by providing operational support and training
