This role as a Task Force General Manager represents a unique and challenging opportunity within HMC. It requires a highly adaptable and energetic professional ready to lead multiple extended-stay hotels nationwide, often traveling extensively as much as 100% of the time. The role is focused on acting as the interim General Manager at various hotel properties in transition. Responsibilities include overseeing all aspects of the hotel’s operations, such as managing revenues, controlling costs, developing and coaching team members, staffing, resolving conflicts, and ensuring every guest's experience meets the highest standards.
As a Traveling Manager, the candidate will work closely with hotel teams of 6-8 employees, offering hands-on leadership and development to maintain smooth operations and promote a guest-centric culture. The role demands excellent sales and networking capabilities to drive revenue growth and maximize profitability by leveraging knowledge of local markets and competitive properties. This position also requires the manager to be flexible and responsive, able to relocate quickly to different properties as situations arise.
