Job Requirements
- Four-year college degree required
- Previous hotel sales experience required
- Operations experience preferred
- Familiarity with Marriott and Hilton systems a significant advantage
- Proven experience in public relations and community marketing
- Skilled in Microsoft Excel, Word, Delphi, and access database tools
- Ability to travel extensively within the United States
- Willingness to work varied schedules including holidays and weekends
- Physical ability to sit for extended periods, lift up to 10 pounds, and operate a keyboard
- Moderate mobility between hotel properties and client locations
Job Qualifications
- Four-year college degree

- Skilled in Microsoft Excel, Word, Delphi, and access database tools
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrated leadership and coaching abilities
Job Duties
- Interview, select, train, and coach associates to ensure they excel in brand standards while living HHM core values
- Use internal and external data to develop comprehensive plans that capture all business segments
- Understand sales processes to support corporate goals and enhance overall customer value
- Identify customer requirements and craft compelling offers that increase the hotel's revenue share
- Track sales team objectives and implement corrective actions to stay aligned with the annual marketing plan
- Drive the hotel toward annual revenue targets established in the budget
- Maintain and grow relationships with key accounts to boost customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Use professional sales techniques to secure the best possible terms for both the customer and the hotel
- Articulate the unique benefits of each property to successfully close sales opportunities
- Manage a current marketing plan with specific, measurable initiatives for every business segment
- Model elite selling techniques and commit to the ongoing development of your team and yourself
- Develop oral and written presentations that clearly convey recommendations and conclusions
- Travel locally during assignments to conduct outside calls, promote the property, and analyze the competition
