The bar porter is responsible for cleaning the bar and equipment thoroughly, replenishing valuable bar supplies including liquor, fruit, ice, and dishware, and assisting with various duties to enhance the overall guest experience. This includes stocking refrigerators with alcoholic beverages, replacing empty kegs, slicing and pitting fruit garnishes, washing glassware and fixtures, maintaining attractive displays of bottles and glassware, and general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and trash removal.

Beyond these operational tasks, the bar porter also supports bartenders by preparing drinks and handling guest payments when necessary.
