Job Description

Odell Brewing Company is a well-established craft brewery that has been a significant part of the beer industry since 1989. Located in Fort Collins, Colorado, Odell Brewing is known not only for its dedication to brewing quality, hand-crafted beers but also for fostering a company culture centered around family, collaboration, and a passion for beer. The brewery has built a reputation for innovation and excellence, producing a diverse range of award-winning craft beers that appeal to a broad audience. In 2015, Odell Brewing took a unique step by transitioning ownership predominantly to its co-workers through a combined management buyout and Employee Stock Ownership Program, which enhances the sense of ownership and involvement among employees. This collective leadership model nurtures a culture of contribution, education, and innovation, keeping Colorado's local community at the core of its mission. Apart from brewing beer, Odell Brewing has expanded into the wine industry with the OBC Wine Project. This new venture explores unique flavor profiles in winemaking, producing wines on tap, in cans, and bottles, with distribution in several neighboring states and throughout Colorado. The wine cellar and tasting room are conveniently located next to the brewery in Fort Collins, allowing for shared resources and a united brand experience.

The position open is for a Seasonal Taproom Associate within Odell Brewing's Taproom Team, focused on providing an exceptional on-site guest experience during the busy summer season. This is a temporary, part-time role primarily working Friday, Saturday, and Sunday shifts ranging from 15 to 20 hours per week, with opportunities to pick up additional shifts. The role requires flexibility, including the willingness to work most weekends, evenings, and some holidays, with employment concluding in late September or early October. As a Taproom Associate, the primary responsibility is to deliver hospitable, engaging, and memorable experiences to guests at both the brewery and winery taprooms. The role demands teamwork, a positive attitude, and consistent reinforcement of Odell Brewing’s brand and its commitment to quality and service. Associates will be involved in bartending, assisting guests with beer and wine orders, presenting products to meet Odell’s high standards, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a welcoming environment. Additional duties include changing kegs, managing merchandise and inventory, supporting special events, and conducting tours and tastings. This position offers the opportunity to work intimately with craft beer and wine enthusiasts, contributing to a vibrant community hub. Consequently, candidates who demonstrate passion for the craft, positive energy, and a collaborative spirit will thrive. The company offers competitive pay starting at $12.14 per hour plus tips pooled between the winery and brewery, alongside additional benefits such as weekly beer or wine allotments, merchandise allotments, and access to an Employee Assistance Program. Odell Brewing is committed to equal employment opportunities, ensuring a diverse and inclusive work environment for all employees regardless of race, gender, disability, or other protected characteristics.
