The Tank Washer role at Kenan Advantage Group is a vital position responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and operational readiness of tank trailers. This position involves cleaning, drying, and deodorizing tank trailers using high-pressure steam, water, chemicals, and detergents in order to meet strict safety and quality standards. Tank Washers play a key part in ensuring that trailers are prepared properly for subsequent deliveries, helping to maintain customer satisfaction and regulatory compliance. This is a full-time position on the Sunday through Thursday night shift, running from 10 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., with an 8-hour shift duration. The starting pay ranges between $18.00 to $20.00 per hour, with potential to earn up to $25.00 per hour. Benefits include comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans, a 401K plan with matching contributions, as well as paid vacation and holidays.
In this role, employees will perform essential duties such as managing chemical usage and waste disposal, performing wash water segregation, opening and closing valves, coupling tanks, driving tractors, and preparing trailers for delivery. Tank Washers must consistently comply with company safety, environmental, and operational procedures to ensure a safe working environment. The role demands physical activity such as lifting, pulling, pushing, and carrying hoses, and requires the ability to enter confined spaces safely. Employees are also expected to conduct necessary measurements, complete related paperwork accurately, and contribute to a positive work culture by promoting effective communication and teamwork among their colleagues.
Kenan Advantage Group values employee development and encourages continuous learning and improvement. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who are detail-oriented, physically capable, safety-conscious, and interested in working with an industry leader. The company culture supports empowerment, teamwork, and respect, ensuring that every team member can make a meaningful contribution to achieving company goals. Kenan Advantage Group is proud to be an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion without discrimination based on any protected characteristic under federal, state, or local law.
