Job Description

Lutron Electronics is a globally recognized leader in innovative lighting control and shading solutions, headquartered in Coopersburg, Pennsylvania. With a longstanding reputation for unsurpassed quality and cutting-edge technology, Lutron has consistently experienced annual growth by delivering a broad range of products and services to its global customer base. The company is committed to expanding its technical capabilities and worldwide presence while fostering a dynamic, people-centric, and technology-driven workplace. Known for investing in new technologies and prioritizing talent acquisition, Lutron offers competitive compensation, excellent benefits, and opportunities for career growth and education, making it an ideal environment for professionals seeking to make a meaningful impact in their careers.

The Talent Acquisition Operations Manager role at Lutron is housed within the World Headquarters and plays a pivotal role in driving the efficiency and excellence of the company’s hiring processes. This position requires an individual who elevates experiences and powers the engine behind great hiring. The core responsibility is to lead and develop the team focused on interview scheduling, candidate experience coordination, interviewer workload management, and recruiting event logistics. The Talent Acquisition Operations Manager anticipates evolving business needs and proactively builds structured systems, efficient processes, and a competent team that ensures the smooth operation of scheduling functions at scale on a global level.

In this highly strategic role, you will bring operational excellence to a fast-paced talent acquisition environment by introducing clarity, consistency, and structure. Your leadership will serve as a model in delivering exceptional candidate experiences, seamless collaboration with fellow talent acquisition team members, and effective partnership with business stakeholders. Responsibilities include leading and coaching recruiting coordinators and schedulers, setting performance expectations, managing workload distribution, and scaling team capabilities to align with business demands.

Operationally, you will oversee end-to-end scheduling and coordination across the hiring lifecycle, establish and manage key performance metrics like speed, quality, and data accuracy, and standardize processes to ensure consistency and operational efficiency. Continuous improvement based on data analysis and stakeholder feedback is integral to the role.

Maintaining a consistent, high-quality candidate experience is paramount. You will manage interviewer capacity and balance workloads, as well as collaborate with recruiting leadership to forecast demand and align resources. Leveraging technology is essential; you will optimize applicant tracking systems (ATS), scheduling tools, and implement automated workflows to enhance scalability and reduce manual labor.

You will also manage the planning and logistics of recruiting events and career fairs, ensuring all operational preparedness, including materials and vendor coordination. Compliance and data privacy are critical components of the position, requiring adherence to recruiting policies, regulatory standards, and secure handling of candidate information. This role involves partnering with Legal, Human Resources, and IT to safeguard privacy and maintain compliance.

Success in this role looks like a team that operates with confidence and competence, supported by a leader who prioritizes people and process. Your team will consistently meet or exceed key performance indicators, ensuring candidates feel informed and valued while interviewer workloads are balanced and adjusted proactively. Recruiting events will run smoothly with minimal disruptions, and recruiting processes will progressively become more automated and data-driven. Additionally, the team will feel empowered, accountable, and supported to deliver exceptional operational experiences. Candidate data handling will be conducted with integrity and compliance, maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and security.

Joining Lutron means becoming part of an award-winning company that values innovation, quality, and people development. The Talent Acquisition Operations Manager role is a unique opportunity to contribute to Lutron's continued success by leading a vital function within the organization that directly impacts its ability to attract and retain top talent worldwide.
