The Talavera restaurant at Four Seasons Scottsdale seeks a motivated and skilled Part-Time Server to join its elite dining team. This role is an excellent opportunity for hospitality professionals who are passionate about creating memorable dining experiences and elevating service standards to Michelin-level excellence. As a Part-Time Server, you will expertly guide guests through the intricacies of the Talavera menu, highlighting unique entrees, preparation methods, and flavors with knowledge and enthusiasm. You will also handle the point of sale system with ease, coordinate food timing to ensure seamless service delivery, and maintain the dining environment by clearing and resetting tables per the restaurant's high standards.

This position demands a genuine passion for hospitality and the ability to build rapport with guests through personalized, anticipatory service that goes beyond standard expectations. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring every guest has an enjoyable and flawless dining experience marked by professionalism, quality, and friendliness. Your responsiveness to guest needs and quick resolution of any concerns contribute directly to the restaurant's reputation for excellence. The role operates primarily in the evenings, requiring availability on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays with shifts typically starting at 3 pm. Job Requirements

  • Two to three years serving experience in upscale establishment
  • valid Maricopa County Food Handlers Card
  • availability to work part-time, including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday shifts
  • ability to start shifts at 3 pm
  • valid work authorization for the U.S.

Job Qualifications

  • Two to three years serving experience in upscale establishment
  • hotel or resort experience preferred
  • valid Maricopa County Food Handlers Card
  • level 1 Sommelier preferred

Job Duties

  • Fully understanding the menu, including entrees, preparation and taste
  • using Point of Sale system
  • coordinating food timing and transporting items to the guest table
  • assist in clearing and resetting tables according to service standards
  • building rapport with the guest with above and beyond service
  • provide an enjoyable dining experience through excellence for quality, professionalism, and friendliness
  • anticipate guest needs and satisfaction
  • offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests
