With an extensive nationwide network of dealerships and a highly recognized brand, AutoNation provides a broad selection of new and used vehicles, customer financing options, parts, and expert maintenance and repair services. The company is deeply committed to making a positive impact both within the automotive industry and in the communities it serves. One example of this dedication is the DRV PNK mission, through which AutoNation has raised over 40 million dollars for cancer research and treatment. This mission highlights the company’s commitment to social responsibility, associating deeply with causes that improve lives beyond the realm of business.

AutoNation fosters a diverse, equitable, and inclusive working environment, welcoming candidates from all backgrounds who are eager to contribute to the company’s culture of belonging and innovation. The company values teamwork, a commitment to social good, and a continuous drive for excellence in serving customers with integrity and respect.

The Tag & Title Associate role at AutoNation offers a crucial administrative and operational function within the dealership structure. This full-time position is embedded in the legal and logistical management of vehicle transfers and inventory control. The Tag & Title Associate is responsible for preparing and submitting all legal transfer documents to the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV), verifying payoffs on vehicle trade-ins, and managing inventory information related to used cars. This role also involves the preparation of checks for purchasing used vehicles and issuing stock numbers for used cars, underscoring the importance of accuracy and compliance in vehicle titling processes.

In addition, the Tag & Title Associate maintains detailed trade-in vehicle records, updates customer address files regularly, processes wholesale deals, and monitors wholesale receivables. End-of-month accounting reports and assistance with annual audits ensure the dealership’s financial accuracy and regulatory compliance are maintained. The role demands strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a comprehensive understanding of applicable laws related to vehicle registration and ownership.

Candidates in this role will work closely with various dealership departments to facilitate smooth transactions and support the overall business operations, making a significant contribution to customer satisfaction and dealership success. AutoNation offers competitive compensation, opportunities for professional growth, and a supportive work culture that values each associate’s contribution to the company’s mission and goals, making this an excellent opportunity for those passionate about automotive retail and administrative expertise.
