The Tactical Security Officer role at GardaWorld Security Services in Portland, Oregon, is a full-time position available with two set schedule options: Sunday through Wednesday from 11 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. (32 hours per week) or Tuesday through Saturday from 11 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. (40 hours per week). This position requires physical endurance, keen observation skills, and the ability to assess and react to risks effectively within various high-security environments. The hourly wage for this role is competitive at $22.50, with the added benefit of DailyPay for GardaWorld employees, allowing quicker access to earned wages.

A Tactical Security Officer is responsible for maintaining safety and security by patrolling sensitive locations to identify any suspicious activities. The role demands quick response to security threats and incidents, ensuring the proper functioning of security equipment such as alarms and cameras, documenting all relevant events meticulously, and collaborating with law enforcement when necessary. The position not only requires physical mobility but also mental acuity to read the environment and anticipate risks before they escalate.
